Building with the AI agent
How to work with the agent team: the first questions, Build and Discuss, voice, attachments and reading a turn.
Your agent team
Every build on every plan uses the same agent team. A builder writes the game, an artist draws the art, a sound designer adds the sound and a playtester tries the game in a browser.
While a turn runs, the chat shows who is at work. More about the agent team.
The first questions
Before a new game's first build, the agent asks a few short questions, one decision at a time. Pick an answer or write your own.
Your answers become a plan. Approve starts the build, Edit lets you change the plan first, and Skip moves on without it.
Build and Discuss
- Build: the agent changes your game. Use it for the first build and every change after it.
- Discuss: the agent talks an idea through with you and changes nothing.
Pick the mode in the menu next to the send button.
Voice and attachments
- Tap the microphone to dictate. The text stays in the box until you send it.
- On browsers without speech recognition, paid plans can still dictate: OddShed turns your voice into text.
- Use + to attach an image or a file for the agent to work from.
- Once a game exists, Improve prompt in the + menu rewrites your draft into a clearer request.
While a turn runs
The steps appear in a small box at the top of the turn. When it ends, the box folds into a summary and the agent's answer appears below it.
You can send your next message while a turn runs, or press Stop to end it.
Reading the result
A build result says whether the game was checked in a browser. If that check did not run, the result says so.
Each turn is charged when it finishes, and the message shows exactly what it cost.
If a build makes things worse
Before a build changes your game, OddShed saves a restore point. Go back to it from Timeline and restore points.
