Publish and share your game

Share your game with a link or list it in the public Game Library. Players need no install and no account. Here is how publishing works.
By OddShed Team

Private by default

Every editor project starts private to your account. Sharing and publishing are explicit actions. When you submit a game, OddShed creates a playable publication snapshot; it does not make your chat or unrelated project data public.

Share an approved unlisted link

Choose Unlisted to share a game by link while keeping it out of the public Game Library. Anyone with the link can play it in a browser, no account needed. The link goes live once the game passes review.

Unlisted is a discovery setting, not a privacy control. Anyone with the link can forward it. Do not publish confidential material, and do not describe an unlisted link as restricted to the people you sent it to.

Publish to the game library

Choose Listed to put your game in the public Game Library, where any visitor can find and play it. Listing comes with every paid plan.

Listed and unlisted games are both reviewed before they go live. Review is not instant, so submit a little before you want to share.

Players do not need an account

After approval, visitors can play an unlisted link or a listed Game Library entry while logged out. You need an account to build, save, submit, and remix.

You stay in control

  • Keep the editor project private while you build.
  • Choose unlisted for link-only discovery or listed for Game Library discovery.
  • Unpublish to remove OddShed-hosted availability. Copies already exported or cached elsewhere cannot be recalled.
  • Public games carry a report option, and games that break the rules are removed.

Where to go next

To host the game on your own site as well as, or instead of, the game library, read the guide on exporting your game's code. The documentation covers moderation and the age gate in more detail.
