Getting started with OddShed
Sign up, describe a game, answer a few questions and play your first version within a few minutes.
What OddShed does
OddShed turns a written idea into a browser game you can play right away. An agent team builds it: a builder, an artist, a sound designer and a playtester.
You need no code and nothing to install. Games run in the browser, in 2D or 3D.
Step 1: create an account
Sign up for free. A new account comes with free credits to build your first game, no card needed.
Accounts are for people 18 or older. Anyone can play a published game without an account.
Step 2: describe your game
Say what the player does and how they win. One sentence is enough, for example:
- A platformer where you jump between rooftops and collect coins.
- A top-down game where you dodge falling rocks for as long as you can.
- A puzzle where you slide blocks to clear a path to the exit.
Step 3: answer a few questions
Before the first build, the agent asks a few short questions, one decision at a time. Pick an answer or type your own.
Your answers become a plan. Approve it to start building, edit it first, or skip it.
Step 4: play the first version
Your first playable version is ready within a few minutes and opens next to the chat. Play it and note what you want to change.
Each turn is charged when it finishes, and the message shows exactly what it cost.
Step 5: change it by chat
Ask for one change at a time: higher jumps, a second enemy, new colors. Play again after each one.
Before a build changes your game, OddShed saves a restore point. You can go back to it from the Timeline tab.
