Your game is yours
You own your project. OddShed gives you the builder, the live preview, hosting and the generated source; you decide whether to publish, and whether to take the code somewhere else.
That is why every paid plan shows you the source and lets you export it: your game is never tied to one host.
What export gives you
Export hands you your game's source, the same code that runs in the preview. Read it, change it in your own tools, and run it outside OddShed.
- ZIP export: download the project as a ZIP file to your computer.
- GitHub export: send the project to a GitHub repository you control.
Export comes with every paid plan. A free account starts with free credits to build with; Explorer and above add export, the code editor and public library listings.
Host it anywhere
Host the game on any static web host. With GitHub export, connect a host that deploys straight from the repository.
Exporting does not delete your project on OddShed. You can keep building by chat here and export again later when you want the newest version.
Selling your game
You own the games you make, so you can sell them. Before you do, check the licenses of any assets and packages inside, and the rules of the store you sell on.
Where to go next
If you would rather publish without managing a host, read the guide on publishing and sharing your game. For what a paid plan includes, see the documentation on credits and billing.
